ZTIC’s technology center, Luoyang Mining Machinery Engineering Design Institute (LMMEDI), is the largest organization for comprehensive technology development and research in mining, metallurgy in China. LMMEDI employs approximately 700 staff of which 400 are engineers (with approximately 30 masters and doctors) involved in research and development of machinery design, manufacturing, hydraulics, construction, cement, active lime, pellets plants, plant design and testing technology.

Physical & Chemical Identification Center

ZTIC owns a professional testing and metrology institute which provides advanced testing methods such as nondestructive testing, industrial chemical analysis, metallographic testing and analysis, mechanical testing, sample preparation, meter/length measurement, weighing apparatus verification, and weighman inspection. Our metrology institute has taken a leading role in China.

ZTIC owns nearly two hundred types of advanced testing equipment, nine different measurement standards and nearly twenty types of world-class testing equipment which have been imported from international locations such as Germany, Japan, USA, UK and Belgium.

Luoyang Zhongtai Industries Co., Ltd. the former was ZTIC Heavy Machinery Industry and Commerce Co., Ltd. It was used be subsidiary of ZTIC Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. The company was founded in 1981 and finished joint stock reform in 2005. There are eight subsidiaries and it's an independent legal entity with the qualifications of operating import & export trade.

With a garden-like industrial park and modern standard plant covering 80,000 square meters, ZTIC possesses advanced equipments, technologies and detecting methods. After more than 30 years development, the company has developed into a collectivized one with product designing, manufacture, installation and technical services as a whole. The products included all the equipments used in mining, metallurgy, construction materials, mining processing, petrol chemical, new power generation as well as the related accessories with automatic control, engineering plastic, high power reducer and large-sized castings & forgings, etc. Now, ZTIC is the national major industry and heavy machinery manufacturing base in the middle of China.
