Product Description
The fused ceramic sand for foundry, known as "fused ceramic sand for foundry", is calcined bauxite with Al2O3 as the main component, which is prepared into foundry sand of different granularity through melting, spraying and sifting.
The particle size of the foundry pearl sand is generally between 0.053~3.53 mm, and its mineral composition is mainly corundum and mullite, with a trace of amorphous phase. The main chemical composition is Al203 and Si02, refractoriness generally ≥1800 ℃, is a kind of approximately spherical, high strength, high hardness of aluminum-silicon refractory materials.
The pearl sand is mostly black and brown. Baozhu sand has excellent physical and chemical properties so that it has been rapidly promoted in the casting production. In the past 20 years, foundry manufacturers have achieved significant economic and environmental benefits, and it is called by experts as "the new green casting material of the 21st century".

1, Product Introduction
Ceramsiteis a kind of refractory particle with diameter of 0.020mm~2.00mm, mainly made of Al2O3·SiO2. It is ball-shaped
particle made from fine bauxite ,which is fused in high-temperature electric-arc furnace and sprayed to ball shape.
2, Features of Ceramsite
- Perfectly round shape with higher fluidity improves fill-in efficiency while reducing the resin level
- Smooth surface of spherical shape greatly improves collapsibility after pouring
- Low gas evolution and high permeability ensures fewer or no defects
- High refractoriness and little thermal expansion ensures no burn-on and deformation
- Artificial sand ensures stable chemical and physical properties
- Almost neutral PH value allows both acid and basic binder.
