The oxidation pelletizing rotary kiln is mainly used to produce pellets, which is one of the important links in steel production. Through a series of process flows, the oxidation pelletizing rotary kiln processes fine-grained iron ore concentrate into pellets with good metallurgical properties. As an important raw material for blast furnace smelting, these pellets have high mechanical strength and good reducibility, which can improve the utilization factor of blast furnaces and reduce dependence on coke, thereby reducing coke ratio and pollutant emissions.
Process flow and technical characteristics
The process flow of the oxidation pelletizing rotary kiln includes raw material preparation, pellet preparation, drying and preheating, oxidation roasting and finished product cooling. The specific process is as follows:
Raw material preparation: Mix the iron ore concentrate with an appropriate amount of water and binder to form green balls with a certain strength.
Drying and preheating: The green balls are dried and preheated in the rotary kiln.
Oxidation roasting: Oxidation roasting is carried out at high temperature to produce pellets with high mechanical strength and good reducibility.
Finished product cooling: The roasted pellets are cooled for use.
