Product Features
Compared with zircon sand, its price is only 30-50% of zircon sand and chromite sand. At the same time, because the sand particles are spherical and have a small surface area, the amount of resin added can be reduced by 30-50%, and the amount of water glass added is ≤4%; it also reduces the casting defects caused by the adhesive and improves the yield rate of castings. It has high refractoriness and is easy to collapse; the mullite phase of the pearl sand is much higher than that of the sintered product, and has good refractoriness; it has high thermal conductivity, good stability, and does not crack.
Application areas
Casting process adaptation: resin sand, water glass sand, coated sand and V method, lost foam and other casting methods; Metal casting: suitable for precision castings of carbon steel, alloy steel (such as high manganese steel), cast iron, cast copper and other materials.
Production process
Use high-quality bauxite through calcination, arc furnace melting, spray granulation, screening and other processes to make spherical particles.
