High Manganese Steel Hammerhead
Alloyed high-manganese steel hammerheads are wear-resistant and reliable, boasting three times the wear resistance of traditional high-manganese steel. These crusher hammerheads are widely used in large limestone crushers used in new dry-process cement production lines in China.

Mn13, Mn13Cr2, and Mn18Cr2 are suitable for high-impact applications such as tooth plates, mortar walls, crushing walls, and bucket teeth in large and medium-sized crushers. They can also be used as liners for ball mills, semi-autogenous mills, and autogenous mills.

With the continuous development of wear-resistant materials, high-manganese steel has become less suitable for the modern foundry industry. It has been replaced by chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, high-chromium cast iron, and nickel-hardened cast iron. However, high-manganese steel's high toughness is unmatched by other wear-resistant materials.

High-manganese steel crusher hammerheads offer excellent toughness, processability, and cost-effectiveness. Their key feature is that under high impact or contact stress, the surface layer rapidly undergoes work-hardening, resulting in a work-hardening index 5-7 times higher than that of other materials, significantly improving wear resistance. However, the hammer head of high manganese steel crusher has high requirements on the overall performance of the crusher. If the physical impact force is not enough or the contact stress is small in actual work, the surface cannot be quickly hardened, and its wear resistance cannot be fully exerted.
